Day 68 – Mooloolaba (Friday)

Today we had another day of fishing. We hired a LITTLE tinny. We find that cruising the estuary’s and through the harbor you see so much more. Mooloolaba has so many houses along the water it’s insane. Some of the boats they own are bigger than their houses. We went past Steve Erwin’s house with his Croc 1 boat moored out the front which was very cool. We tried to get a quick photo without looking like stalkers.
Our fishing today was very average, Holly caught so many random fish it was quite funny. A crab, 2 whiting, flounder and some strange spiky sea caterpillar ?!
In the afternoon Holly and I took Sam for an overdue haircut, five hairdressers later we finally got it done. Their excuse was that they were fully booked but we think his hair was just too SCARY for them. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜€We have taken a before and after shot. He looks human again.
A late afternoon game of beach dodgeball and early to bed.
