Back down the red centre today to Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk). Took us about 3 hours from Kakadu. The park is very pretty, back to red dirt and stones rather than grass but the amenities are clean and the pool is amazing, possibly the best so far. We swam this afternoon and relaxed listening to some entertainment by the pool. Very warm here must be about 35degrees. Off tomorrow for some bush walks. Starting early to avoid the heat.
