Kakadu day 24 – 23rd July (Wednesday)

Adam and Max went early to the river crossing to fish. Holly, Sam and I hang out at pool. They returned at lunchtime they caught about 25 Barra but all undersize. There was a big croc there that had a tracker on him, he was about 4.5 meters.
In the afternoon we went and saw some aboriginal artwork at Nourlangie (Burrunggui). The bush walk was really nice amongst tree’s and rock faces. Kids found the artwork pretty boring but thought one picture was very amusing. (Picture below). 😂
We then went to Ubirr to watch the sunset over Arnhem Land. It was magical. It reminded Max and me of the scenery in the Lion King looking over the ‘Pride Lands’. It was about 1km walk up to the rocky lookout. Sheer drop below. Amazing……..
