Daly River Day 14 – 13th July (Sunday)

Dad and I went fishing this morning. We used live bait for Barramundi called cherubim which is a fresh water prawn.
Dad caught 3 barramundi but they were just off size by 1mm, I caught 3 catfish.
We saw heaps of crocodiles about 60 salt water crocs. We had a great day.

Max

Me, Sam and mum were at the caravan park all day while dad and Max went fishing. Sam enjoyed it because he got to stay and play with the dogs but we also went in the pool for a swim. Mum needed milk so we drove through an aboriginal community it was freaky everyone was looking at us. We got petrol and milk we had to drive about 30km down the road.

  2. Wow . Great fishing. Seeing all those crocs must have been exciting Max. Sounds like you had an exciting experience just getting milk Holly. Watch the car Pen when you go into shops in the outback. They opened up mum and dads while they were in a shop and the shopkeeper says you need to be careful

  3. Sounds like you’re having a great time guys! We are having trouble getting the photos to work but we’ll get there. Are you getting a chance to play netball Holly?
The whole class says ‘hi’ and we hope you’re enjoying yourselves. We miss you Holsta!
