Well it’s been an eventful day. We started early from Devils Marble and it turned hot pretty quickly with a top of 30 degrees. 40km out from our destination Daly Waters we blew a caravan tyre it was loud and quick, thankfully when we pulled to the side a lovely family pulled up behind us to help. “Smithy” was an army man posted from Sydney to Darwin, he helped Adam change the spare tyre and got us going again in 30 mins the tyre was shredded to pieces. Thank god for Smithy, he wasn’t at all bad ladies on the eye either buffed with tattoos, I’m always looking for the positive. 😜 They followed us to Daly Water where we were able to get a spare tyre. Adam got a blister on his palm in the first 2 Minutes trying to jack up the trailer thank god Smithy was able to take over.
Daly Water is an experience not to be missed. We have had a great meal and listened to more great country singers. Bra’s undies stubby
Holders all hanging from the bar. Adam stapled his Berwick Angling Club card to the wall. I didn’t hand over a bra a little embarrassed of the size !!!
This place is packed! Caravans jammed in we won’t be going anywhere in the morning until the Grey Nomads sober up.
Off to Mataranka tomorrow looking forward to relaxing in some hot springs. Xx

Hi Mel, yeah lots of Km’s in between places to see, other towns just road houses. Kids have done it surprisingly easy they have been busy doing journals, Ipad, blogs and of course watching dvd’s. Next few stops are for a couple of nights each which will be good for a sleep in. Xxx love to all.
