Day 6 – Uluru

Wow huge day, we started with a camel ride which was the highlight of the kids trip! It was fun even Sam was cheering with excitement, they are a huge animal but such softies. They are taken out of the wild as adults and trained in 6 months amazing. Then we went to the rock, so much more amazing than we ever imagined. It is a must see in your lifetime. Beautiful. We then went for a couple of walks as well as the cultural centre. Kids have learnt SO much. We also saw 2 dingo’s within 5 meters from us. Then we come back to resort and kids had a swim in the pool. At 5:00 we left back to the rock to watch the sunset. Great day we are all filthy and exhausted. Sam rolled around in pretty much every red dust pile he could find and often in bare feet it was hard to tell him apart of the indigenous! So many photos wish I could blog them all but they are on my camera. So here is a couple of shots off the phone!

  1. Hi Sammy, how cute do you look. They would have had trouble finding you as you would have blended in so well with the rock.

  2. Wow you’ve only been gone a short time and already seen so much while where sitting at home in our pj’s xx
