Today was a special day being Max’s 12th birthday !ππ
We went for a drive around Cairns out to the Kuranda skyrail which we will be riding on later in the week. Cairns a very busy place. Weather today was beautiful a sunny 28 degrees.βοΈ We went down the the foreshore lagoon pool and the kids had a swim and some lunch. There was a gorgeous little market on with some really unique little pieces of clothing and trinkets. (Melissa you would have loved it)!
We retuned back to park just in time for the arrival of Nana and Pa Fletcher which was all very exciting. They have a great little cabin. Sam particularly liking their bunk beds.
Thanks to everyone celebrating Max’s birthday and heading out for dinner with us to the Coconut restaurant in the resort. Off to Port Douglas and surrounds tomorrow. Looking forward to it, waited a lifetime to see this place, one of mum and dad’s favorite holiday locations.

Hi Max I hope you’re having a great time! It’s a shame I couldn’t be there to celebrate your Birthday, but I hope you had a great day! you’re really lucky to be up in warm weather as it’s extremely cold down here. Just and update, as you know I applied to get into Berwick Collage high achievers program, well the other day I received a note telling me that I got in! I was so excited to hear this, anyway I can’t wait to sit down and play a few games with you! I’ll see you when you get back.

Hi Max, looks you are having a great time up in Queensland and having a great birthday. I think you will enjoy Port Douglas as it is beautiful and quite hot. Hi Max just wanted to say I hope you had a wonderful birthday it looks like you had a lot of fun, I just wanted to ask a few questions like where are you going next? and did you catch any fish, if you did what type were they?. It sounds like you got a fright when you found those eels or were you the brave one?. I wish I was up there enjoying all that warm weather like you are because itβs getting down to 8 degrees here, anyway hope you have a great time up there and soak in that warm weather because it won’t be t-shirt and shorts down here it will be jackets and pants.
