Day 28 – Barkley homestead – 27th July πŸ”πŸΊπŸš˜

Today we did the longest drive of our holiday we drove 880 km and took us 8.5 hours.
We departed Katherine Gorge at 7:30am because we helped dad pack up we got mc Donald for breaky, I got hot cakes ( pancakes). On the drive we watched movies ( thanks auntie Kim) we also played I spy and me and Max played sticks. As we passed Daly waters we saw pieces of our blown tyre on the side of the road from 3 weeks ago. We are staying at Barkley homestead 250 km from the QLD boarded it is quite nice here tonight we hade a counter meal it was Devine!!.

  1. Wow, what a great kid, love the photo Sammy! Can’t beat MCDonalds for Breaky at the start of a big day. Keep well, see you all soon. Sorry your old Nanna is so unwell.

  2. Hi Max and family, We hope you are having a great time on your holiday. We really like the photos you have posted. (Billy) It looks like you are having a blast of a time! (Noah) We wish we could have the same weather you are having as it is very cold down here at the moment. (Grant) Can’t wait to have you back (Angus) Where are you heading to next? Maybe you could tell us about your favourite times so far! (Mrs N)

    1. Thank you for commenting and reading our blog. My favorite place was Darwin because of Crocosaurs cove with it’s reptile enclosure, I brought a book called “What lizard is that?”.
Tell Noah the weather is hot, tell Angus that we are on our way to Cairns.
See you in a couple of months. From Max
