Litchfield National Park – Day 16 – 15th July (Tuesday)

Started the day with a terrible toddler refusing to pretty much do anything !! 😠😤. So me and kids went on a walk along ‘Walker Creek’ which was really nice while Adam looked for anyone willing to adopt an awful child.

When we returned Sam had partially recovered and we went for a swim in the river. We ended up having a great day swimming at an amazing waterfall called Florence falls it was really busy, Max freaking out with snorkel on, telling us fish were everywhere beneath us. We then did another walk to the Cascades, this walk was really hard as it was rocky and there were water crossings, (there was a warning sign for difficulty 😬) it was well worth it the rock pools at the top were great to swim in all having a little cascading waterfall into each, and surprisingly warm. The walk back was not fun!!! Stumbed toes and splinters just to name a few of todays injuries. Me and Adam looking forward to coming back here one day to do the remaining walks (without kids!!)….
Off to Darwin in the morning looking forward to it.
